True. It is a big deal for the Catholics in Africa and the Caribbean too where people tend to be anti-LGBT. He still should be supporting marriage equality though. Civil Unions are a separate but equal compromise.

Give him time. But yeah I agree it could be more but as long as he’s not opposing legal equality and using money/influence to fight legalized SSM efforts.
