What is it with phonies trying to fake a bunch of people and trying to write it off as mental illness?

I don’t know what is going on with these people. I remember that story. You can sort of understand if they’re motivated by money (although not forgive, of course) but so many of them seem to be craving something else, like attention or power. It’s so fucked up.

And what about Tania Head, the woman who claimed to be a 9/11 survivor and headed up some victims’ organisations?
