re: #194 Gus 802

All three. Just checked two more and they’re all working, or linking to the Pay Pal page.

From the letter she got it looks like she has until the 17th:

In order to comply with the Acceptable Use Policy and avoid the limitation
or closure of your account, you will need to:

1. Remove PayPal as a payment option, as well as all references to
PayPal, including the PayPal logo and/or shopping cart, from your
website(s), atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com.

2. Submit the online Acceptable Use Policy affidavit.

To appeal your limitation, login to your account and select the “ResolutionCenter” link. On the next page select the “Resolve” button(s) located inthe Steps to Provide More Information section and follow the applicableinstructions.

This is not intended to be an all-inclusive review or list of your Internetsites in violation. Furthermore, the violations of the Policy describedabove are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. It is the
responsibility of the user to ensure that all transactions comply with theAcceptable Use Policy.

For more information about the status of your account, please log in to
your PayPal account.

We encourage you to login and return your account to good standing as soon
as possible. Failure to respond by 6/17/2010 will result in the further
escalation of this issue.

Since she hasn’t removed the links, she’s failing to comply with the letter.

My guess is that this is deliberate—she’s going to ineptly force them to close her account by refusing to comply with their TOS or go through the appeal process— thus ensuring lots of foamy posts to come from her, lots of attention from her fellow haters in the wingnutsphere and an outrageous outrage.

Instead of say, contacting paypal and appealing, she’s urging people to attack paypal. some of that response is just Pammy being Pammy (e.g., stupid, ragefilled, prone to incitement and shrieking first asking questions later), but I’m certain some of it is another shriek for attention. Oh, and traffic and links.
