I can only speak for myself, but I improved once I got married.

“Improved” in the sense that now there’s even more of me to love.

Opinions continue to differ between Mrs. Schadenboner and myself on this issue, however.

Perhaps ‘enhanced’ is a better adjective, much as I refer to myself as a gravity-enhanced cyclist.
