Frankly, the most transparent and abrasive Republican tactics look like the finest chess moves by a grandmaster compared to what Putin’s regime does in the Ukraine.

I don’t entirely disagree, but getting caught on tape admitting that you’re implementing voting restrictions in order to secure the outcome for a given candidate is pretty dumb in what’s meant to be the world’s shining beacon of freedom-y democracy.
