I find it very amusing that most of the judges who have handed down rulings contrary to conservative desires have all been appointed by Republican presidents. The judge who shot down Intelligent Design in Dover, DE, was also a Republican appointee.

In this matter the judge has little choice. The Supreme Court told him what rules he must enforce and he is doing just that. What he thinks personally isn’t at issue; he’s got his orders. That’s one of the things this case is about: Proper orders. Sometimes you are given instructions you don’t agree with, and you just have to obey them.
