They’d never do that. They love getting to hobnob with politicians too much. They like getting to pretend they’re movers and shakers. The press is as addicted to adulation as Trump is, which is why they get so angry when comedians make them the butt of the joke.

Trump is so out of the normal operating box that I can easily see a stop to the Press Dinner this year.
