I always wanted to go to NO. Not during Mardi Gras but some time when it’s not nuts (if that is ever possible). Enjoy your trip. And give us a report. I would love to hear it!!

We went for a few years running in the late 90s/early aughts. We used to go around Halloween - the crowds were big enough to get the party vibe, but not a total crush like Mardi Gras (did that once, never again).

Also, they have Jazzfest/Voodoofest around that time. It’s a good time to visit.
