Don Aaron with Metro PD is giving another conference right now; he said that a “shots fired” call came into the Central Precinct at about 0600. When Metro responded, they found no evidence of a “shots fired” incident, so they called in the bomb squad and began getting people away from the area. Then, the BOOM at about 0630.

What made them go from shots fired to bomb squad? Was there a suspicious vehicle report as well?
