How’s things in your little corner of the world?

And a good evening to you! How did you guess I was cornered? NY Grampa is taking every single dish out of the cabinets, and they are surrounding me on the floor and coffee table. As we are kosher, we have 2 sets of everything; dishes, pots, pans, silverware, cooking things, pot holders, dish towels, coffee maker…name it! They are going to be packed in cartons, and the youngest son is coming in the AM to help. Once the regular things are put in the storeroom, the Passover stuff comes upstairs….and the new shelving paper is on the shelves, extra heavy aluminum foil imported from Israel is on the countertops and stove, etc., and the frig will be ready to put liners in. And the oven has been cleaned and will be ready for Tuesday and Wednesday when the cooking gets done.

And there is probably stuff I forgot to metion, like all the foods are out of the cabinets and off the shelves, which will be lined tomorrow, and the pasover dry products will be put on.

I am short, and really do not do well trying to get stuff out of the cabinets. My 2 little granddaughters, ages 6 and 8 always measure themselves against me, and smirk! I am about 4’11 now. The 2 1/2 year old grandson could care less how tall I am…for now.
