OT - Ot - Dustyvet Update.

I’m doing better then I was last night, the family now has the results from Kathy’s autopsy. I don’t know if you where informed what happened yesterday afternoon. Kathy and her husband had just come home from afternoon church services. Kathy told told Fred, that she just needed to sit down for a bit, and rest, and that she felt very tired. Fred went into the kitchen to start dinner, for Kathy and their foster kids. They have a Sunday night tradition of making cold sandwiches , chips, dip and fruit. They then set up TV trays and watch TV and have dinner.

When Fred went back to the living room, Kathy was sitting in the recliner with her head down on her chest, and appeared to be sleeping. When he tried to wake her, she did not respond. The Paramedics where called, and attempted to revive her. kathy was taken to the hospital, but nothing could be done.

Kathy passed away from a massive heart attack while she slept. The tragic part is that, Kathy had just had her yearly medical exam about three weeks ago. Her GP Doctor had told her that she was in good health, and everything was OK.

The Funeral arrangements are pending. We are also working with the American Red Cross, to bring her son home from Germany on Emergency Leave.

The only other problem I’m having, is that being on a fixed income, I am unable to travel until the 1st when my VA check comes in. Please inform all the Lizards that The family and myself are doing fine, and we are hanging in there. Thanks to all the LGF folks who responded with their kind words.

I don’t know how to do this, so I’ll just say it out loud, CAN ANYONE HELP DUSTYVET?

It’s evident that even if he gets his check in time to make the funeral, he’ll be spending money he doesn’t have.

I will be glad to either pass along any info to Dustyvet OR give you his email.
