Interestingly, the Nazis based their hatred of the Jews, and the other groups like gypsies & Slavs, on notions of “race” not religion. The Jews were singled out for “polluting the German blood”, not as “Christ killers”. Disgustingly, the Nazis dressed up their racial arguments in pseudo-scientific arguments about breeding, race and eugenics. It was all scientific nonsense, but it did attract the so-called progressive modern people in Germany to the party.
