One good thing that could come out of the financial collapse: not only will the WOD become too expensive, but the lure of taxing it will be come too much to ignore

It would be politically difficult to fully legalize and would require some cooperation on the federal level. It might be too early but it would be an epic move if Obama could make it happen in his second term.
