“Cause of Death: Typo.”

About five years ago I had a bored, lazy doctor tell me my blood pressure was 150/100. I was an out-of-shape smoker and believed her. Got it redone a few months later— 122/80. Not perfect, but obviously not in ‘you gonna die’ territory.

The funny part was she didn’t even give me any advice about what would have been alarmingly dangerous blood pressure. She didn’t even mention it. It was just on my report when I got home.
