Gun-Fucking Meme of the Day.
Wingnuts don’t realize:
1. This is a very “well-regulated” militia.
2. Swiss citizens are issued standard govt.-approved weapons, they can’t own all the guns their heart desires.
3. Govt. strictly controls all the ammo.

There are also periodic incidents of people misusing their guns in Switzerland (often to commit suicide). It’s basically not at all clear that if Switzerland *didn’t* have a volunteer army, their crime rate would be any different.

Also, Switzerland is the epitome of “well-regulated”. I once saw a rail commuter in Zurich chew out the platform attendant because his train had pulled in seven minutes late and thus his car had been forced to circle the block.
