re: #216 Lidane

Let’s face it - the nominee will be Jeb. Whoever the last man standing in the Anybody But Jeb Sweepstakes is, that’s the open question.

Rubio— single term Senator, no “executive experience”, birthers, and the added bonus of the base hating him because of immigration. He’s a less charismatic Obama with all the wrong policy positions.

Cruz — Toxic to everyone who isn’t a religious fanatic and mouth breather.

Walker — I would’ve said he was a threat, but his attempts to outcrazy Ted Cruz by coming out against LEGAL immigration will destroy him with the business conservatives who like legal immigration.

Paul — Just like his daddy, he gets the uninformed and naive interested because he babbles about freedom. Just like his daddy, he won’t make it out of the primaries.

Trump — LOL

Carson — LOL

Fiorina — LOL

Christie — Without Bridgegate he might have had a chance. Now he’s DOA.

The GOP primaries are going to be a shitstorm of fail.

I still think Rubio has a chance, if only because the Big Money are getting nervous about Bush being the safe bet that he seemed even six months ago. His brother’s legacy is not going away, nor is his own shady past. And any time spent on reliving the Schiavo debacle is gonna do him no favors in the polls.

Rubio’s biggest problem right now is he’s a cookie-cutter candidate, all of his stated positions all within a few degrees of the rest of the field. There’s just nothing about him worth getting excited about.
