She was a Disney ingenue, but when she broke out on her own, her managers sexed up her act. Seems to happen with a lot of Disney ingenues: Lindsey Lohan, Miley Cyrus, to name but two.

Another thought: It’s such a damn cliche by this day and age too. The marketing shift and the resulting outrage are just so damn boring.
