Mr. C’s inability to eat gluten without pain has really put a dent in our visiting ethnic (or any other) restaurants. It’s possible, but not necessarily easy… On the other hand, we have any number of ethnic grocery stores and the internet provides recipes.

Which brings up the question, has anyone here ever cooked with corn smut, aka huitlacoche? It was mentioned on a program the other evening and Mr. C. and I sort of looked at each other and said we really ought to try that.
