Yep, the Tuna and Hamburger helper mixes are pretty open for having extra ingredients added.

A friend of mine who made and sold hot sauce had as part of his pitch, “This sauce helps make good chili. And can help fix someone else’s bad chili.”

I’ve noticed a lot of the boxes have recommendations for additional ingredients.

I grew up on Hamburger Helper. It’s a comfort food, and no one can take it away from me.
