The PRC for a long time felt that they got ripped off by the Soviets who convinced them to leave Mongolia alone only to create a Soviet puppet state (too strong?). So, yes. A few years ago I did a bit of a dive into Mongolian heavy metal on youtube. There was always salty and sometimes shocking comments between Mongolians and Chinese viewers.
