Rep. Bart Stupak to retire, putting seat in play

Not a great loss for the Democratic party, but still a loss. That district is fucked in the head due to its large anti-choice population. I’m sure his retirement will be spun as a victory for the tea party and wing-nuts who are making threatening phone calls to Democrats—even if that isn’t the primary reason he retired.
