30 more years of stability? Look, I’m not advocating this but it wouldn’t be hard for the US, using its various PSYOPS assets to convince the Egyptian people that they themselves had selected some popular young officer to lead a transitional government that never quite transitions.

People act like we either need to support MB or Mubarak. I’m just saying there’s a 3rd way if we choose to take it.
