It just kills me to think that, if Fukushima had been thorium-based, the entire meltdown (and the increasingly desperate, absurd measures to halt it) would never have taken place:

The problem with thorium is that when you’re out in Silithus trying to mine it, it could be 3:00AM and not a soul in sight, but as soon as you spot a node, some Chinese assclown swoops in on his epic mount and ganks it.
