So Fidel Castro, Maduro, Chavez were/are all champions of economic freedom and individual liberty?

laissez-faire capitalism champions the economic freedom and liberty of corporations over individuals. dictators like castro promote the the dominance of the state over the freedom of individuals and corporations. to be against a dictator does not make one ipso facto a champion of economic freedom and liberty for individuals

but also, and what pisses me off the most, is for me to hear how ‘liberals’ - and they are talking about me and other progressives, are “against economic freedom and individual liberty”, and “pro-castro”, and this from people who want to kill unions, kill the minimum wage, kill consumer protection laws, and restrict the ability of individuals to sue corporations, which they term “tort reform”
