The whole dead people are going to get up and walk is soo creepy. Not to mention just stupid.

A god, or demigod, is just not worth his salt until he can make a dead man walk again.

Come to think of it, I can’t remember if any of the Greek gods successfully revived a dead person. IIRC, either they stayed in Hades or got turned into a constellation if they were really special. If the early Christians were trying to outdo the pagan gods, making the dead walk would be a winner.
