No. What McCarthy did was stall and lie and dissemble, and know that he’s got an audience of know nothings at Fox who will lap up every grievance and bogus claim all while benefiting from the programs they despise. These same GOPers will then go back to their districts to claim that they got those benefits for their residents.

They’re doing it with the infrastructure bill they opposed. They’ll do it here too.

And that means nothing to the media, because both siderism is their ongoing narrative.
