As I’ve said in an earlier thread, the British Foreign Office has been anti-semitic since before the First World War. The adjective used is “Arabist”. Lawrence of Arabia also was an “Arabist” obsessed with Muslim and Arab language and culture.

How many people do you think know that in Israel’s war of Independence Israel fought Arab armies led by British officers who were on active British service?
