Sorry to read those quotes, as I have always respected what Graham has done in his life. I’ve been to a total of two of his crusades in the last 45 years, so that wouldn’t make me an expert on him. I would hope he has changed since the Nixon days. Do you have recent quotes to that end?

I would suggest that what you say in the Oval Office to the President in a confidential talk (or in this case, one you don’t know is being recorded) is probably pretty close to what you actually believe, regardless of how you weasel around when - surprise! - the tapes pop out of the archives. I never trusted Graham and these recordings bear me out.

The churches we’ve been in the last 40 years have all been pro-Israel. The Bible is pretty plain speaking when it comes to the Jews - you curse them, you’ll get cursed; you bless them, you’ll be blessed. Pretty simple, really.

Agreed, there. Odd how many Christians (= converts to a Jewish worldview) still have trouble wrapping their minds around that one.
