Zippos. “Armored” was a joke adjective. Even the Bradley’s 25 mike tore them to pieces.

Sadly, that’s not the case with the latest versions of BMP-2. Some of those have a lot more armor. Nastiest is the model with a 57mm automatic cannon. Low rate of fire but a 57mm’s DU penetrotor round will turn any IFV to scrap iron. Thankfully, the Russians don’t have too many of that model.
