You should fly into SEL at night, and look across at the DMZ. Seoul is lit up like Las Vegas, and pitch… total pitch darkness on the other side of the airplane.
Very freaky.

I remember flying past Chicago on a clear night. What a sight. Everything southwest of Lake Michigan was lit up like a Christmas tree.

North Korea could choose to join the civilized world but refuses to do so only to maintain the paranoid regime of Kim Jong-il. It’s been 57 years since the end of the Korean war. They need to lighten up.
