Were there WMD’s, yes. It’s been proven.
Was it noble thing to depose Hussein? Yes.
Was the cost worth it? No. I understand that middle east countries that have only known tyrants and dictators for thousands of years cannot transition to democracies without lots of blood being shed.
To Fish and your point: War is not always the answer but neither is appeasement.
