Quick point about that telegraph article (I’m glad you posted it!) — it says that the rape/sexual abuse photos are among the ones Obama is blocking from release (the ones mentioned in the ACLU lawsuit) — that’s actually not true. The rape/sexualabuse photos/videos aren’t even among the ones in that lawsuit — but the Taguba report makes clear that such photos/video are out there.

Also Taguba has since clarified that he himself has *not* seen the photos/video of the sexual assaults— he has eyewitness testimony by others who witnessed the assaults and saw others taking photos/video. He found that testimony credible and it’s in the report.
So it’s reasonable to infer that the photos/video exist, and he believes they do, but he’s denied having seen them himself.

That’s my understanding of the current state of affairs; I’m a bit obsessive on this topic.
