1st world problem: Was awakened last night by the sound of pounding from outside. Somebody had entered my Cherokee and was smashing the ignition in order to steal it.

They tore off in an older Cherokee after I yelled at them but I couldn’t see the license plate, assuming that vehicle wasn’t stolen.

There is no battery in the truck because I’m in the process of doing some engine repairs, so none of the lights would come on when they opened the door. You’d think they would have noticed that before smashing the steering column.

Stupid people are stupid.

Why would they steal your ignition when theirs was apparently working?
