Thought experiment (deliberately hyperbolic) for you:

If Obama were caught on an open mic saying “I really hate all those goddamn white people”, I can guarantee you that the race-baiters would run with that one, too. Would that make it wrong for us to point out that it would be scandalous for the President to say such a thing?
