Seeing how the leaders of all 4 countries made personal pitches to the IOC, I’d say that all 4 candidate cities really made their best case and they no city could be called an “underdog” or “favorite” selection. Will anybody be blaming Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama for Tokyo’s loss?
