Steve Benen writes, “I hate to be a stickler for reality, but when the Declaration of Independence was signed, John Quincy Adams was a nine-year-old boy.”

Nine year old FOUNDING FATHER!

Well, according to “The Founding Father’s Second Amendment” by Stephen P. Halbrook, an 8 year old JQ Adams was drilling with the militia in the run up to the battles at Lexington and Concord. His musket was longer than he was tall. Perhaps Founding Son would suit better?
