That tracks. In the coal-smudged Pittsburgh of the ’50s, we used a green wallpaper cleaner as a craft putty. It came in a one pound can, and there were booklets and magazine articles describing how to build up coils of it or mold it.

That was the Clean Products product. I bet if I found the can and got an image of it, you’d remember it.
