Toledo huh? I wonder if the Sisters of Saint Francis is behind this. Stopping in Toledo which is the home of a Catholic Diocese of Toledo makes me think so, because the nuns that taught at my school system were Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate out of Joliet Illinois. And Toledo was the diocese our church was under. They were always active socially and many of them were close to being outright hippies back in my day. (Graduated HS in ‘72)
