I never had issues with it. Then again, I only used it for a few years in high school before I got my own desktop computer for college when I was 18, a Packard-Bell with an Intel 586 processor. I clogged that motherfucker up with thousands upon thousands of Napster files. I think the tower is still at my parents house somewhere.
