The legal system is more than prepared, and the prison system is more than capable of housing someone as infamous and nefarious as The Don…granted, there won’t be an omelete bar in his cell, but he will get a plastic spork to eat with at meals.

I think the question you’re really asking is, “Is the US media ready and capable to handle the facts of a trial for a defendant like this?” - and the answer to that is, maybe?

The problem is more the political system (namely the GOP) in the time of Trump and its reaction — and the devout cult members who may very well take violent measures to object to the continued attempts to hold Trump accountable for his crimes. Certainly Matt Gaetz heated rhetoric suggests that the party will not accept any efforts at justice.
