Agreed. That’s why I’d like to see this come down to “X rounds in Y seconds”. For what values of X and Y do we start putting in extra regulations?
OK, here’s the problem with that. This video shows a gentleman (I think it was Bob Munden) with a revolver shooting three times. It’s not very long so watch to the very end, where he shoots six shots, reloads, and shoots six more (all hitting the target) all in less than 3 seconds. While that’s exceptional there is a whole subset of speed shooting which would render almost every possible weapon void in X over Y second measures. Training and talent matter.
