I tried one of those self serve registers at Wegman’s. One of the cashiers had to guide me through it. I prefer a human cashier. It is much nicer.

I’ve been a cashier. If I wanted to ring groceries, I’d get a job doing so.

If they offered me a discount for doing it myself (like they used to with self-serve gas), I might consider it.
