Why is that a stupid figure. I think as of 2014 it was just north of 70% and within the last decade it was close to 80%.

Of course the percentage is really irrelevant to the issue unless it was 100%.

Also, Christianity is not monolithic, and several denominations do not celebrate Christmas basically at all. Which brings us to what I think is the real reason Trump is jumping on the the red cups nonsense, the Seventh Day Adventist Church is among the denominations that do not consider the day to be a holy one. Ben Carson belongs to the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
