Try Pale Moon. It’s Firefox stripped down and its glorious. Firefox is too bloated and slow these days.

I tried Pale Moon and it was eating just as much memory as Firefox was. I finally went with Chrome since I could disable Flash easier there and that made things marginally manageable. Knocking out Flash in Firefox was a pain since it would constantly restart Flash processes anyways - which would then eat memory and refuse to give it back.

(also seeing the never-ending loading in Chrome today with this page. Message in bottom left alternating between “Waiting for littlegreenfootballs.com…” and “Waiting for vast.bp#######.btrll.com. or just “Connecting…” ####### is a 7-digit string.)
