I haven’t been following the Democratic veepstakes in detail, but apparently one of the possibilities is pro-life.

That would appear to be a bone-headed choice, if made.

Kaine is “pro-life” in the way that, say, Harry Reid is; abortion goes against his personal beliefs, but he thinks that is a decision for each woman to make according to her conscience. That’s a functionally pro-choice position, and a lot more common than most people think it is.
