Sorry to sound rude but Rightwingers don’t need lies to engage in violence. Look at how they treated Black Civil Rights activists when all those people wanted were equal rights and respect. Can we stop pretending that they are engaging in or threatening to engage in violence because people are lying to them? These are big adults. They’re not children. They choose to be lied to and choose to act violently based on obvious lies. It’s like we’re trying to find excuses for their reprehensible behavior when we don’t do that for other demographics.
