Why not? If someone thought that a post - on a PUBLIC FORUM - which jokes about someone tracking YOU down and shooting YOU was so hilarious they simply had to post a congratulatory “hahahahahahaha!” in response, I’m pretty sure you’d ask them for an apology too.
