Age - Involvement
17 - Socialist Workers Party
19 -War Resistors League/Mobilization For Survival
20 - Earth First
22 - Yippees (hey, those guys could party!)
24 - worked with Liberation Theology nuns in NC
25 - disgusted and homeless

from there on I played music on the streets till I started in the clubs at 28 and jettisoned any interest in radical or ‘middle of the road’ politics.

49 - worked on the Obama campaign…oh, right, I said he’s no radical.
