I thought it was the opposite in his case. Thought (heard) he was getting threatening calls from supporters of Healthcare reform rather than wing-nuts.

Maybe after he switched the “threateners” changed.

Not sure who he was getting calls from, but it’s a pretty sure bet that neither side had any love for him at the end.
