They got an election out of it, but that’s it. And I will continue to maintain that that speaks more to voter desperation than any real belief in any of the TP BS.

I agree that this was not based in any sort of ideological agenda, it was just lashing out. I don’t think this helped them in the midterms. It actually slowed their progress and threw away some very easy victories in Nevada and Delaware. Republicans should have picked up more territory than they did.
